Helena V. is a photographer, based in New York City, looking to exhibit and publish her photos from The Museum of Messages in venues, galleries and publications. She sells her photographs as fine prints in limited editions and has worked as a Photographer and Graphic Designer at Ralph Lauren, WMI, Simmons Jewelry Company, Travel + Leisure, City magazine and more.

Helena V. was born in Caracas, Venezuela and lived there till she was five years old. Early in her childhood a camera was given to her, which she constantly used to shoot and create montages. In 1980 her parents moved her from South America to Connecticut. She grew up there and then studied photography for two years at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While studying at the university she learned about how difficult it is to survive as a full-time artist. That being so, she switched her major to creative advertising because she was drawn to graphic visuals that continue to inspire her today. After graduation she returned to the east coast to go to communication design school at Parsons School of Design in NYC and to pursue her dream as an artist.
